Storm & Hail Damage

Free Storm Damage Inspection

Know exactly what the storm did — at no cost to you

After every major hail or wind event in Chicagoland, thousands of homeowners wonder whether they have storm damage. Most don't want to file an unnecessary claim; most also don't want to leave a legitimate claim on the table until a leak appears three years later. A professional inspection is the only way to know. Ours is free.

We walk the roof, examine every elevation, and deliver a written report with photographs documenting what we find. If damage is present, you have everything needed to open a claim — we can meet the adjuster on-site and walk through the scope. If no damage is present, you have written confirmation for your records and we walk away. No pressure, no upsell.

What Our Inspection Covers

Roof Surface

Every pitch walked: shingles, flashing, ridge cap, pipe boots, vents, and skylights — with test squares marked for density counts.

Gutters & Downspouts

Dents, dings, separation, detachment, and granule accumulation evidence.

Siding

Cracks, impact marks, splits, and hail pattern distribution across every elevation.

Fascia, Soffit & Trim

Dents, splits, and paint impact marks that often reveal the direction and severity of the storm.

Windows, Screens & Glass

Cracks, screen tears, and frame damage — highly correlative with roof hits.

Soft Metal Signatures

AC fins, grill covers, mailboxes, and other soft metals around the property to corroborate timing and severity.

What You Get

A written report delivered within 2–3 business days, photographs of every finding, and a straight recommendation. If damage is present, we walk you through the claim process step by step. If it isn't, we send you written confirmation so your records show you verified — which is useful if a future claim is ever questioned.

Frequently Asked Questions About Free Storm Damage Inspection

Is there a catch to a free inspection?
No. There is no obligation to file a claim or to use Dynasty Restoration for repairs. We inspect, we document, we tell you what we found. That's it.
How long does an inspection take?
30–60 minutes on-site, depending on the home's size and number of elevations. Written report delivered within 2–3 business days.
Should I call before or after filing a claim?
Before. If we find no damage, there's no reason to open a claim. If we do, you call your carrier with a documented scope already in hand, which speeds up the process significantly.
